Terms and Conditions

1. “Refer a friend” offer description

Pago offers a referral program, under which any existing Pago user can invite a friend to register on the application. If the terms of this offer are met, both the referring user and the referred friend each benefit from 1,000 (one thousand) Lekë.

2. Validity period

The offer is valid until and including December 31 [2025].
Pago reserves the right to extend, change or terminate the offer at any time, with prior notice through official channels.

3. Who can participate?

The referring user must be an existing Pago user with an active and verified account.

The referred friend must:

• be a new user on Pago,
• not have previously had a Pago account,
• complete the registration and identity verification (KYC) process.

4. How does referral work?

When registering on Pago, the referred friend must set as the referrer the phone number with which the referring user is registered on Pago.

The referral is considered valid only if the referrer information is entered correctly during the initial registration.

The referral cannot be added or changed after registration is complete.

5. Conditions for receiving the reward

To receive the reward of 1,000 Lek each, all of the following conditions must be met:

• The referred friend must successfully register with Pago and pass the verification process.
• Both the referring user and the referred friend must each make at least one payment through Pago, using:
  • payment by QR,
  • card payment,
  • or any other payment service enabled by Pago.
• Payments must be successful and not canceled or refunded.
• Payments made with funds transferred, directly or indirectly, by the referrer or by other users who are part of the same referral chain are not considered valid for the purposes of this offer.

6. Reward credit

The amount of 1,000 Lek will be credited to each beneficiary’s Pago account.

The loan will be disbursed within a maximum period of 7 (seven) working days after all conditions are met.

The reward is only usable within the Pago app and cannot be withdrawn for cash, except as permitted by Pago policies.

7. Restrictions and prevention of abuse

Each user can refer more than one friend, as long as the referrals are real and meet the conditions.

Pago reserves the right to:

• refuse the reward,
• suspend or close accounts, in case of suspicion of fraud, self-referral, creation of fictitious accounts or violation of Pago’s Terms and Conditions.

Offer does not apply to business accounts, unless otherwise specified.

8. Responsibility and changes

Pago is not responsible for technical errors, delays or inability to register that are not directly dependent on the platform.

Pago reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework.

9. Applicable law

This offer is governed by the legislation of the Republic of Albania and by the relevant regulations applicable to electronic money institutions and payment services.
